WPA works fine. Use the 3.xx kernel.
The Japaneses consoles were always programmed to apply the "O" Button if you dont like the configuration change it in the recover menu. :tup:Zitat:
Zitat von redphive
why? they think "O" means OK? and "X" means not OK?
No cause they like the O button better then the X. I don't know, ask him/her.
you got to be weird if you like 0 more then X
Well in the Sony Browser I better Adapt Myself to the "O" button that the "X"Zitat:

o is the universal sign for approval, while x is for disapproval . Or at least in japanese context. Seeing it from this point of view, it actually makes sense, don't you think? ;)

Zitat von vnjoe
have someone gotten it to work on 3.52 M33 with WPA security?
IMPORTANT TIP!
in the config file where it says "vsync=0" change the 0 to 1 and you wont get the google error as often.
it works good i just finished testing it for the past 20 minutes viewing various videos and i only got the google error twice.
add this to the first post.
weird.... so i was playing with my psp and decided to try psptube again and it connected! So i played a few videos and it worked perfectly... I exited by pressing home and try it again and it doesn't work no more.... It keeps giving me "connecting network........failed"
wtf is wrooooooong omfg
can you still connect to the net using your psp browser? try restarting your psp.Zitat:
Zitat von vnjoe
yes i can still connect to my psp browser. I'm using WPA security btw. this is weird
some people posted that it wont work with wpa. if you put psptube in the game folder make sure kernal is set to 3.xx. or put it in the game3.xx folder.
Hello.
I updated new version.
but I am check 1.0 FW and 1.5FW only. very sorry.
-button swap :)
-fixed some bugs.
-favorite folder(video download)
-maybe thumbnail work...(you have to set to 1 at psptube.cfg)
thank you.
I'm using 3.52 M33 and my kernal was set to 1.5 and psptube was in GAME352 folder. That was when it worked. However, when i exited it... could'nt connect again. I've tried the same kernal/same fw folder but also keep getting "connecting network......failed." I guess it is because of my internet settings... this is so wack. SOMEONE PLEASE FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE IT RUN ON WPA SETTING :'(
K I don't get why WPA Security won't work when its in 3.x kernel. I've never seen that before.
how about a link?Zitat:

My theory about this is its not a real flash player, but a simple decoder. That decodes it into a .mp4 format using a remote decoder or an internal decoder that will render it using a simple (and small) flash decoder that you maybe able to find no the internet. BUt I really think its not going to Youtube. But going to a external site that this japenesse person has hosted, and it decodes it into a .MP4 or a .3GP ; and if its just decoding it into a .MP4 than its just another video player that is basicly the same as the PSP, but can stream vidoes through it. if its a .3GP than its just another RSS channel veiwer that maybe interactive that has its self in the "game" folder and is simply streaming via a converter.
I maybe wrong, I haven't downloaded it yet. so I don't know, but I'm going to download it and decode it to find out if its another video veiwer or if its a rss channel veiwer..
sweet! im gonna try it now. thanks for the update SofiyaCat, you will go gown in history:)Zitat:

Configuration has been fixed so Those winners can use the "X" button to load Videos.
I think the google error is fixed? I just tried a video that never worked on the old version but works on this one.
How do you use this feature?Zitat:
Zitat von SofiyaCat
EDIT:
Nvm, just press /\ on the video you want to keep and it'll download to your memory stick. To watch it, press select to go to your favorite video folder.

Do you guys REALLY care if you can view youtube on your PSPs? You have computers and chances are if you can connect to the internet on a PSP you're nearer a computer. I bet most of you people put it on your PSP, use it a bit, then forget about it and never use it...

if you dont like it good for you. but guess what? this is an awesome app. and you can be at a wifi hotspot where there is no computer for you to use so psp to the rescue.Zitat:

i think this thing takes advantage what youtube did so the iPhone could watch youtube because youtube converted all of its videos to a different format so the iphone could view them so i think this plays that format insted of flash
