Hmm this is just a wild question, but, say if team M33 were to make firmware 3.53 M33 (dont know if thats an official firmware) could they decrypt it and install a higher version of the flash player in there?

Anybody help with saving favorites, it won't seem to let me :s
ok guys , whoever got sync problems . when u click the video u want to see . u should pause it for 10 seconds or more and after that .. try to play it again . i guarantee the vid will sync fine ( at least for me )
and for whoever have problems watching fav movies ( the one that u dled into fav folder ) .. i found the fix .. first play the video ( that u want to save later ) completely .. untill the end .. then after that .. go back and download it ( press triangle ) .. and after finish .. thats it .. u'll have working fav videos ( u can watch it offline btw .. since u dled the movies ) ..
ps : to watch fav movies .. press select .. to go back to search video press circle ( if u're online ) .. but i assume u guys know that //
thats all folks .. i hope that works for u .. ( it works for me )
.. oh one more thing .. i have a question of my own .. is thumbnails for fav videos possible ?
i got wpa to work! one time. just once. 1. i renamed my connection to z, and it worked i even tried to search and watch a video, and it worked. now it wont work any more. also my connection is dhcp.
ilept, if only what you posted worked for me.
Actually, what you posted is what I did to test the favorites in the first place and had no luck. Ah well, I really don't care for it right now anyways, though I'm happy for this and grateful that the developer has worked so hard on this.
I cant get it to play video's
is there an alternative to this player?
korlithiel , hows ur setting ? did u put the homebrew in game3XX ? or 150 ?
if 150 then try to put it in the folder game3XX and set the kernel to 3.XX <- whichever cfw u're on . and umm if u did all that and still dont work .. try to view the vids offline . or .. perhaps give it a time to load .. some vids takes longer to load than others .
oh yeah when u see the vid ( streaming mode ) try to pause it and wait a while before u play it completely .. then try to save it .
btw ... fav vids with size 13 mb and up are most likely wont work ..
i dled lots of music vids ( 9mb down ) and all works just fine ..
ok hope that works for u !

Does this work with 3.03 OE-C?
It might if you place it in the GAME303 folder. The best success comes with 3.52M33 though.
I know :p I just recovered from a semi brick today :p
EDIT:Never mind I got it to work ^^
i dl'd the new version and i put everything in the write folders. i even made my own youtube acc and i replaced the 0 to a 1.
its connects and when the text box comes up i type in for example dtc and i press start or x. it will have dtc - no video then the box will appear again.
how can i fix this?
edit: asked abotu 6-7 times alot of members wanna know this aswell.
btw i have a nintendo wifi usb connecter as a soft-ap.
People start answering this question pls.Zitat:

At least those people with the Favorites question got it to work.
and also for those people with the connection problem you should help them too.
I've already been flipping through 74 pages. C'mon , lend a hand if you guys know how to solve the no video problem.
If you connect to YouTube alright, then I'm guessing it must be to do with something in your settings, or Wi-Fi connection.
wut should i do? i just when i search it comes back up no video...
Well it has a few problems.
I cant use WPA, I changed my pw to WEP so now it connects.
It usualy frezzes on starting SearchThread
If it load some videos i cant watch them it frezzes on buffer
if i go offline it wont play the two videos i downloaded.

I Fixed all but the WPA problem by setting the cpu speed in the cfg from 333 to 222
Wow this has got to be up there with one of the best PSP homebrew applications of all time.
1)PSPTUBE
2)Daedalus R12
3)Sony PSX emu
But there could be a few improvements.
-Able to play videos in favorite folder without exiting homebrew first then selecting offline mode.
-Thumbnails
-Commenting?
-Slider bar for video(select where you want to go in video)
just to point out that you can be in online mode and still go to your favorites. Just press select. ^_^Zitat:

and real names for the videos. they all end up with random letters for a name.Zitat:

Just wanted to say, some videos don't sync right (wether Vsync is on or off). Try Urban Ninja. The video goes about half speed most of the time, and the audio cuts out a good bit before the end, the exact same spot every time.
Thanks for the new build, thumbnails work, I can't get any more googlecache errors, and it loads the list of videos instantly ^_^

Okay, I'm writing a guide for PSPTube... I'll post the link in a sec...
i love psptube, but i was wondering do i need to download an flv player because i can't play my favorites offline, i think i played it offline once but it might have been on the internet and i might be mistaken. can anyone help me?
We dont need another psptube guide theres already like 3 lulz
i think i know why people are having problems with the WPA part, the connection in the program times out too quick. the author, or another coder, needs to change the timeout to ~20 secs. that should fix the prob.
for the video/audio sync, its just that audio downloads faster than the video, and that the video lags slightly, which in turn makes it even more out of sync.
no other settings in the cfg file have changed anything relating to the sync prob, altho now my wpa wont work again. i noticed that sometimes when i go to the browser on the psp it says exchanging key data, sometimes it doesnt. if you hit one of the times where it doesnt ask for the key data you will be able to connect to psptube. its this extra step that makes the program time out. (i think)... be back in a bit
Hmm....
I agree with what you said exiodus about the connection timing out WAY too quick...
At first that's what I thought the problem was because by the time the app says the connection is failed...my Wi-Fi light has only just turned on and tried to connect...
But I will have a look into that exchanging key data part you said and see what the results are....
--EDIT--
Another thing I forgot to mention was that I tried putting the 150 version of this app into the GAME150 folder on my psp, just as a test...
Not sure why, but instead of the app just saying my connection failed...it kinda just fills my PSP screen with dots (or periods "." whatever you wanna call them)
Not exactly sure why it does that..but hey...just thought I'd let you know...in case it helps...
ok when you put the 150 in the game150 folder, did you switch to 1.5 kernel mode in recovery menu? or did you leave it at whatever it was at before? one possibility is that it was able to load the eboot, but having trouble interpreting the kernel mode commands. or it could just be a bug in the programming. can anyone else try this and see if you get the same problem?
and if possible, Devil, could you upload your psptube pack to some file hosting service so i can try it with the same exact files you tried with? you never know if a file has been tampered with...
http://rapidshare.com/files/49031131/PSPTube-DevilOutlaw.zip.html
That's the link for my PSP-Tube files
And do I need to switch the game kernel, because I thought the GAME150 folder automatically used the 1.50 kernel...
But I can try swapping it and see what happens...
--EDIT--
Nope...no change...still just fills up my screen while saying its "connecting"
ok, could be a bug in the code. im going to dl your pack and try it on my psp in a few mins. ill let you know if the same happens to me.
Alright then...I'll be waiting =)
i love psptube, but i was wondering do i need to download an flv player because i can't play my favorites offline, i think i played it offline once but it might have been on the internet and i might be mistaken. can anyone help me? please
I'm sure that's been answered in this thread....
What exactly is the problem you are having?
just to note, many people have been having problems playing fav files. there is nothing that requires a flash player with this app. its all built in. i believe the file size has something to do with it.
some vids work for me, some dont.
one person mentioned to watch the full movie before you save it. click X on the vid, watch it till the end, THEN try to save it. after you save the file, and make sure you wait for the whole thing to finish downloading, reboot the app (or your psp) and use offline mode (o when it asks which network to connect to). try that and tell me if it helped.
and devil, i just broke my batt cover, and my psp keeps shutting off when i move it. im gonna try to find some good tape now, but in this house it may take some time.
Ouch... o.o
Alright then....
Sorry to hear about your battery case....
Has there been a new release after the august 12th version? On his site he has that one crossed out, but with nothing else on the page...
UPDATE: Version20070817 summer [komi] (C72) being similar, it is distribution schedule.
Looks like an update on the 17th?
Is there A way they can just load both the video & audio at the same time? So it can be sync?
For the sake of explaining things here is what I did:
I installed the program using the one from the 200 folder and shoved it into my GAME340 folder.
My kernal is set to 3.40, never needed to change it and unlikely I will ever.
Now after watching a video while using this program I dl'd it afterwards and then tried to play it. The file size is just above 10MB's I believe, unsure since I have since deleted it.
Now when I tried to test the favorites I hit select, saw the movie there and tried to play it. About 5 minutes later I bothered to see if I could get it to move along and found that my PSP was frozen.
Giving up, I deleted the file from my memory stick and though I'm sure that with a few hours time I could get the favorites working I feel fine waiting for a later release.
Don't worry about helping me troubleshoot it. I'm fairly happy and I figure that the dev will likely roll out a new version before I manage to care about favorites.
hi....
im new here and trying to load my psptube...
im currently using version 3.40oe-a
i've done all that the TS said but when i connect to the network, it says connected...
den they show "starting search thread" and it gets stuck there...nothing happens....
btw i put the psptube folder in F:\PSP\GAME340 (tell me if im wrong, the other folder is GAME150)
can anyone help?
i dl'd the new version and i put everything in the write folders. i even made my own youtube acc and i replaced the 0 to a 1.
its connects and when the text box comes up i type in for example dtc and i press start or x. it will have dtc - no video then the box will appear again.
