i tested other video formats, this is what i got
2 MB wmv file = sound and video played, video was slow and the right side was jumbled
8 MB wmv file = same as above, played, out of sync
50 MB avi file = crashed PSP
14 MB PSPAVI file filmed from the chotto shot cam (aka MJPEG) = instant PSP crash
***all formats were tested in OFFLINE MODE. some far nothing other than flv files have played smooth, some (like MJPEG) crash the psp instantly. but on a side note, the favorites menu seems to work better in this version. before, whenever i tried saving a file then playing it thru the favorites menu, it would buffer forever. some said that you have to reload the app and watch it in Offline mode, but now, you can save a video to your favorites, press select, and watch it without having to go offline or restart the psp.

Here's my take on the config file, by the way. (Rearranged as requested)
I don't know Japanese, so don't hurt me if I'm wrong. =/
EDIT: You should be able to use this configuration file for PSPTube, since all of the translated stuff is commented out anyway. That said, it'll only work for one version, unless he doesn't update it. Also, I'm going to try the test function and see what I can find out.
TEST FUNCTION INFORMATION
The test function makes PSPTube load videos from an alternate source. This wasn't really made for users. This is a debugging function, as SofiyaCat stated in the configuration file.
Essentially, you can enter in...
source = url <- replace that with a url
...and PSPTube will load that video file on launch. This DOES work. =)
There is also another part to this function. His example was...
source = "test.flv"
...Replace "test.flv" with your video name. The video must be placed in the PSPTube folder for this to work!
(Why not use the favorites folder, though? >,>)
The last use of this function goes like so...
source = ms0:/path <- Replace with the path to your video
...and it works well, but this is also deprecated (for users, not for debugging) by the function to set your favorites folder. =)
Also, you can only load on video at a time with this. I assume the top one will be read, since that's what the program sees first. This isn't a practical application, since we don't have many text editors on the PSP. If we did, then we could edit the configuration file to make PSPTube load from our own webservers. Still... It's a neat function. Great job, Sofiya!

The new version is VERY buggy compared to the old one. The sync is really bad in this one.
I like the 8/12 release better, the new one, the video is all choppy and the sync is worse, stick to the old version.

I have both in my game340 folder and I tried one after the other from the same distance from my router, the 8/17 the picture is just choppy, and like looking at it while im hallucinating. The 8/12 one doesnt do that, but both have the sync problem.Zitat:

This release definately works with WPA TKIP DHCP, only if you:
Select the text gui (NOT the XMB wifi chooser).
And this version the FLV playback seems a bit faster but wow it sweeps a bit from side to side. Sofiyacat is still working on it so i believe all problems will be history soon.
