Tell us if there's any changes!
The changes I see in the new version:
-Background now black instead of white
-There's a new "stage5" option don't know what it is but it came up with some high quality Final Fa nasty Videos. (Kind of slow)--I searched "psp"
-There's a new playlist option which you can add videos to by press /_\ and selecting add to playlist.
-There's now a config file included in the download. (No dev id needed though.)
That's all I've found at the moment.
other change
.rezisable video by pressing select
Pretty cool
Can anyone see what it says when you press triangle on a video? I can see the first three options down to save. There are some more options below that.
The 'options' below the first three are the first few keywords for the selected video. You can use them to search for other videos with those keywords.
also you can chance the resolution by pressing select to the original size, and i realize that it has stage6 on the browser, hence it can play avi even if they are in the favorites folderZitat:

Super special awesome a new update
I was thinkin a couple of days ago it would be nice to have stage 6 support
Double post: I just download a stage 6 video it wont playback in psptube
Seems to load faster then old version, everything is very smooth since I last really played around with it.
Only delay is when I press o to get into the search menu.
well great release veoh works better then stage6 but stage6 is not far from been working really well one thing i have found it seems to give you only the first page result of the web site like if you go on stage6 and do a search for battlestar it will give you only 12 result when there should be like 60 aside from frame bug this hb is top of the list cant wait to see the next improvement
The last version (December 25) didn't work for me... I could do everything fine, but the videos wouldn't play. I hope this version fixes it!
Use the shoulder buttons to change search result pages. It's what I do for Youtube searches.Zitat:

This is an excellent update. I've not fully explored all it can do but I am looking forward to finding out
yeah thx i figured it out afterwardZitat:

one bug i found but i cant say what cause it, it tends to crash after i watch a few video on youtube as for stage6 and veoh both of them are laggy but veoh as a better rate but quality is not as good as stage6 wich if in the long run becomes acceptable will definitly make this one of the most requested hb
in my own opinion
This app is great.
Just dropp FLV's in the favorites folder and they show up on your PSP. Good for those without wireless internet...just download the FLV and toss it in the favorites folder.
Sort of a noob question, but how do you search for videos? Ive been able to connect to wifi and now all I see is a black screen and it says "Youtube"- No Video on the upper left hand corner and Online on the right.
EDIT: Nvm found out.
I just threw an HD divx rip of Futurama benders big score and it played!!! if he gets this working decently i swear im donating $200 to the guy!

:O Screenshot?
sure but how do i take screens in homebrew mode? what plugin to use?
hey i think i found what basicly is the problem with playing stage6 flic, when you try to play them from stage6 the image seem to lag but i think its the oposite, it is actualy going to fast the sound seem to go at a normal speed but seems to try to continuously catch with the image if you download the same flic from stage6 and try to play it from your favorite folder the sounds the plays fast just as the image and it actualy sounds like the chimpmunk so the problem might not be lagging but the opposite
also it would be cool to have a delete function in the favorite folder... unless there is one but i havent seen it
There might be an option if you open up the menu. I can't check right now, but try it.
Anyway... The new version works perfectly for me! =)
nah i have checked the triangle button and there is none but hey i guess it probably will be implemented in futur version
Here, I need to say "Thank You" to SofiyaCat. You did such a good job to let our dream come true - watch youTube on PSP.
PSPTube is a "Must have" to everyone who can run homebrew on their PSP. It is one of the greatest homebrew program for PSP ever.
I have following homebrew program on my PSP (CMF3.71M33-4). I consider they are the best.
1. PSPRadio
2. gpSP
3. eReader
4. PSPTube
BTW, I can use PSPTube in the spot with weak network connection. Where even the internet browser and PSPRadio not working so well. PSPTube is Amazing.
Wish list:
1. Solve the lag issue when watching teoh and stage6. Now I have to pause a few seconds before start to watch;
2. Play list can be saved after you turn off PSPTube. Also can remember the stopping position that last played.
3. Have more than one play list. Like PlayList1, PlayList2 and PlayList3;
4. Option to delete the favorites; Currently you have to use PC to delete them.
Only problem am having is Stage6 works 100% fine (with lag ofcourse) but sometimes Youtube and Veoh seams to have a hard time connecting to my network since all am having is the ``Novideo result...
Example i try to look for video titled "PSP" when i press select and go to Youtube it says Youtube`PSP`No Video then Same result with Veoh.. Veoh`PSP` No Video but when i choose Stage6 it shows the video related to the seached video...Then it means PSPtube is working for me but Only Stage6 is showing good result..
What might the problem be?? Transparent Proxy??
I tried putting a xvid movie(700mb 640x480ish) in it, it plays but with artifacts.Zitat:
Zitat von chuck67
does it play at normal speed or does it play like at fastfoward cuz i get the "artifact" to but i think it mostly cause by excessive frame skippingZitat:
Zitat von negative13
Mine plays at normal speed. I'm on slim btw.
PSPtube 31.12 got released, I don't know anything about this version, because I just found a link on nekoMiMi.
http://www6.uploader.jp/dl/guesswork..._uljp00006.zip
just type in the field over the hotppeper picture "psptube31" (without the ") and then click on the button. Then click on the appearing link.
Here was the link

i hope for filter
Stage6 videos work a little bit better but just a little
Thanks for the info. The Chinese website is slow and takes a lot of time to download.
Therefore i re-uploaded the rar to Rapidshare :)
Have fun.
Spoiler for Psptube:
I did the same yesterday but I forgot to post it
http://rapidshare.com/files/80803157/PSPTube.rar.html
It seems that you can still not delete videos :(
NicoNico video is new.
see nicovideo.jp
It does have video's but i can't find em. I think you have to search with Japanese signs.
Veoh video needs some tweaking and Stage 6 needs a lot of work before it's complete.
But i like this program so much :) It's great, thanks Sofiyacat :)
I cant play videos over 10 minutes, after ten minutes it stalls, and crashes :(
well divx does play slightly better but still in alpha stage as for the rest great app, saved divx still play at fast foward for me but the sound and image seem to be playing at normal speed when watched directly from stage6 but laggy
Please note a newer version is available.

If you had read what we posted before you would recognize that it was already posted twice before. <<Zitat:

I can't help you guys with your problems, because it's working fine for me... However, I have a little tip if you really want to get the latest version. =P
PSPTube Page: http://nekomimi.cafe.coocan.jp/wiki/?PSPTube
These are the three download links in it at the moment.
http://nekomimi.cafe.coocan.jp/dev/P...be20070817.zip
http://nekomimi.cafe.coocan.jp/dev/P...e20071229c.zip
http://nekomimi.cafe.coocan.jp/dev/P...be20071231.zip
Notice that, aside from quick bug fixes, the program is always uploaded to:
http://nekomimi.cafe.coocan.jp/dev/P...beYEARXXYY.zip
XX = Month
YY = Day
The latest version hasn't been posted on that page yet. It hasn't been posted anywhere on the wiki, as far as I can see. Someone on QJ found it, and I assume it was by doing this...
http://nekomimi.cafe.coocan.jp/dev/P...be20080106.zip
Yep. Manually scan every single date and see if you hit something. Of course, SofiyaCat rarely releases programs with future dates, so you only have to scan from the date of version that you have to the current date. (I had to scan from December 31 to January 6, which was a piece of cake)
If you want to make sure that you have the latest version, check the site normally then use this trick to scan the current date and the date before.
So on January 7, I'll just try out these two URLS...
http://nekomimi.cafe.coocan.jp/dev/P...be20080106.zip
http://nekomimi.cafe.coocan.jp/dev/P...be20080107.zip
The first just makes sure that he didn't release something the previous day after I checked and the second is to see if anything is new today. =P
Normally, this wouldn't be worth doing, but SofiyaCat makes each version so much better than the last that there's no reason not to give it a shot. It only takes about 2 seconds anyway. (Longer if it actually works and starts downloading something. x,X)
Oh, and if you are going to do this, try to limit yourself to 1-2 checks per day. This isn't really hard on the servers, but the load will add up if everyone starts reloading the same page over and over all day.
P.S. This is most useful if you want to check from your PSP. That way, you don't have to load the whole wiki page and scan through it on that small screen. Just bookmark the link I posted and change the URL of the bookmark whenever you want to check. Download using the browser, then install the program with PSPFiler. (It can open up ZIP files and sort your XMB menu, so you're completely covered!)
Now you can get the check for updates (and install them) from your PSP wherever you can get a connection, and it only takes 1-2 minutes.
Oh, and the link to the January 6, 2008 version is probably going to be posted in a few hours anyway. Using this trick will probably get you the new versions a few hours early, at best.
I hope Sofiya is okay with this. I don't think he would upload a version that he doesn't want people to download. If you're not okay with this, then just tell me. >,>...
Nice, and it even made front page before I could find it on the website.
Thanks Sofiyacat!
Newer version released.
