yah i could fill the 20GB(and remember you buy a 20Gb but it is only like 18GB after format) I got anime series up the wahzoo!!!!!

I am getting the Apacer seno share CD211 with a 20gb or 40gb HD. It has the USB OTG so i can transfer the files to and frow the MS card.

and when team x comes out with their adapter i will get it and will be able to use the above cause it can be used as an XHDD and it has an internal battery.

I figure this would satisfiy both worlds

This is a mock up I made of how it would suposed to look if in fact a hombrew came out to beable to read from the 5 pin mini B. You would have a 1 gig usb flash drive or thumb drive as some may call it. I know many people in college that have 1 gigs for graphic assignments like Photoshop class. Hell why not make better use and put some anime or music on the drive as well its less bulky than having 20 gigs. The reason I mention the 20 gigs is that its cheap and its great to beable to store 20 gigs of music and even better anime movies! Its better than lugging around a laptop to have DVD pleasure ^_~. Besides the drives about the size of a floppy disk, nothing really to complain about for the benifits.

The hdd that started this thread is not self-powered and requires drivers to be installed. It's not suitable for psp.
Also, do a search for Xecuter or mass storage and you'll find a very nice faq.

yeah, it wont because thats the dumbest thing ever, unless your talking about using the ipod as a storage device rather then something to play music, then i understand, but a 20gig HD for 300 bucks? psh, funk dat

The iPod is mass-storage (doesn't require drivers) so yes, it will work.

actually there is a version of the IPOD with the color screen which can send and receive files it has a mini file browser on it, which is capable of reading the MS you could just push files to the MS using it as a swap

I think it's an excellent idea, considering I carry my iPod and PSP with me everywhere. I could listen to my music, then when I feel like it hook up my PSP to the iPod and play a few games. Good stuff.

why have that big chunky 20gb one when u can get a tiny 40gb one

look how small it is there is loads of space in the psp case amagine that 40gb but still keeping the psp sexy if someone can make software then we are havin some big time fun with ALL of our music and movies

personally, i would be too afraid to stuff extra junk in my psp. i say, why not just have a bag or psp case (Logitec or something) that has a little extra room in it? i really don't believe that having one little wire coming out of the MS slot would really make the psp unsexy anyway. not to mention you'll still have a warranty.

imagine if you used your ipod, ppl would say "Oh snap, he's so 1337 his ipod can 'talk' to his PSP!"
