Default Lua Programming ?'s...

I have decided to learn lua. But I had a few questions. I have read that with lua there is no need to compile when done. But can i compile a lua app into a eboot.pbp? I dont want to make apps that need to be loaded inside another app (IE: I want Load straight from XMB.) And another question. Whats the best developer software to design lua?

Default

You can compile it into an eboot, but that means you must install cygwin, psptoolchain and all the libraries to compile luaplayer.
If all you're wanting to do is launch it straight from the XMB, just change the path that system.lua directs luaplayer to (Lowser is default) to where ever your program is saved.
