3.71, like 3.60 for the Slim, won't work with custom themes. Trying to overwrite any files in flash will semi brick your psp.

lol so u dont need another battery

Can I restore my battery back to its normal state after this process?

Yes, you can if you've backed up the contents of your battery's flash into a file on you memory stick; although, this defeats the purpose of having a battery ready for unbricking.
lol bricking isnt an emergency if you have this stuff...

edit: definitely needed to make this battery BEFORE i updated to 3.71
but then... ahh i get the point of the spare + other psp stuff

LOL ill just wait till 3.71 has 1.5 ebootable stuff

you can launch eboots. Only with 3.71 kernel atm. So any homebrew that was made for 1.5 wont work but only until Dark_AleX release the 1.5 Kernel installer for the PSP Fat.
