Does one need to have the specially formatted memory stick and such in order to use Booster's Multi-IPL Pandora? Or can I just use it with my MS that I usually use with all the files in it?

Yes, to install it I recommend you to first follow the pandora guide and install that, and then to follow the multi-IPL loader read me.

you dont have to use regular pandora first, you just run the installer and it works, you may have to run the pbfirm installer to get an msipl if you dont have it

if you want normal boot then install it to your normal stick. it wont erase anything.
