Is there a homebrew that sorts songs by metadata in that hierarchy? all of the ones ive seen are folder based.

there is one but i forgot the name, i will edit and say if i remember, it was like an ipod clone

I say it once and I say it again the psp is not a real mp3 player..If you want a mp3 player go get the new nano 4 gb 150 you cant beat it....There are even cheaper mp3 player I picked up a 2gb mp3 player for only 40 bucks so look around and dont use the psp if you want a music player///
