Default Flashing PRX...not seplugins

Since my memory stick does not support prx's then I dunno what else to do to get it working. I remember when you just load the prx on the flash and editing the text file. Now days 3.71 change it around. What are the bin files here stand for?

pspbtcnf.bin <pspbtcnf.txt?
pspbtjnf.bin
pspbtknf.bin
pspbtlnf.bin

sony changed them from text files to bin files in firmware 3.50. theres an app that lets you open and modify them in windows.

What do you mean 'my memory sick doesn't support PRXes'? Every memory stick supports them...

I thought I read that a lot of Lexar sticks don't work with prx files as well.

lexar sticks don't work with plugins for some reason. your best bet is a sandisk since they're cheaper than sonys and also usually faster too.

Any found a way around this yet?

I've tried takeshi's 3.71 pspbtcnf.bin editor.
It doesnt open pspbtcnf.bin, it shows an error.
The only file it opens out of the four is pspbtjnf.bin. But i think that is the file to be edited, because even IRShell patches pspbtjnf.bin to install its prx.

But the problem is, if i even touch the file, it semibricks.
