Default I need just 1 SNES EMU, not 2!

right now, i have one of the Emu's made by Y, which can only play Super Metroid and is more than a few weeks old. i then have another Emu (x i think) that cannot play Metroid, but has no problem playing my other ROM (as of now, i only have and want 2 ROM's), teenage mutant NT: Turtles in time. is there a newer emu out there that can play both because i'm quite tired of having two diff emu's that can only play a certain amount of games. i have 2 memory sticks, but the recent release of all these new Wipeout Pure tracks has left me with the option to only use 1 emu on 1 memory stick, leaving the other for game saves and wipeout files! from what i understand, i've recently heard people talking on various PSP forums about a new, very fast SNES emu that can play virtually all SNES ROM's. is this true and is it as good as, or is it called...
Snes9xTYL 0.1
^^^
that emu looks to be pretty new, especially since it wasn't there the last time i checked this site. any help would be greatly appreciated. also, if such an emu exists yet, could someone provide a link to a pre-made EBoot...i know nothing about installing these things and previously had someone help me out on AIM. thanx again

The search function would really be useful right now. I mean, it would just take a sec... and yes, the TYL emu is pretty darn cool... makes use of the PSP's GPU.

MalumEnSe-
that's great and i have the list of all the SNES emulators for the PSP right in front of me....but it doesn't say or talk about the compatibility with how many games it can basically run. also, are there any pre-made EBOOT files anywhere? the page i am at... http://files.pspupdates.com/cgi-bin/cfiles.cgi?0,0,0,1,4..... ....doesn't say anything about pre-made files. so all i really need to know is if Metroid & TMNT works w/ this emu and if there are any pre-made EBOOTS (or whatever the term is) anywhere to make this process easier. oh and i did use the search function to find the newest emu's...that's how i first listed TYL version. but there are simply some things i need to know that only a person can answer. if the info is accessable by search, then i obviously didn't find it. but thanx for your help regardless, it is appreciated

Always a good thread to find Pre-Made programs (it's stickied for a reason ):

http://www.pspupdates.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2785

The file you want is in that long download list.

And I believe this emulator is more compatible with almost all ROMs than the other emus. This one rocks... you gotta try it.

just shows how much i know....
apparently all these newer emu's are already pre-made and ready to go. last time i did this, we had to do it the long way, which i didn't even know how to do properly i've loaded both my games and MAN O' MAN do they look beautiful!!!! i would imagine that with all noobs coming through here, asking the same type of ?'s i've asked, it gets kind of old very fast

so, thanx again kind sir for your understanding and patience...it really goes a long way!!!! oh and look at all these options i get to fool around with!!! i'm gonna have fun with this emu. thanx again man!

It really is the next step in emulation on the PSP. The best part is that the source code for this version will be released when the next update comes out - which means all the other PSP emulator authors will be able to make use of the PSP's GPU and you'll see a dramatic speed increase across the board for all emulators.

But did they have to use different formats for save files? Thats the only thing holding me back from switching.

State saves are not compatible, however the "in game" SRM save files do transfer...

...and it's not that unexpected - later versions of Y's SNES emu isn't compatible with state saves from earlier versions either.
