I totally agree, who are the best hackers? definatly not the japaneese, not the amaricans and not us swedes (though we are really good at it ). No its the belgians, netherlanders (spelling anyone?) and all those EU countrys. We'll see 2.0 homebrew very soon after 1st september. I bet my head on that!

PS: Don't forget those english lads..

there are a couple of answers for that question
one could be that you're not European so you have nothing to gain from the European psp launch. another reason could be that you'll have to answer a question. and the last reason is you're afraid that someone might be a bigger noob then you, and you're jealous.

i suppose, now that i think about it, the european launch will be cool a bit. Finnaly i will have people i can verse and will be able to buy games and accessories in a store without having to go through an online auction site. On the other hand, it will be bad where everyone elses brand new PSP's will not have a scratched screen and will be all shiny unlike mine....

I'm looking forward to the launch because hopefully they will hack 2.0 AND bring out more homebew but I'm not looking forward to it because currently I'm one of the only people I know with a PSP and now everyone will be like "yeah I dont care everyone's got one"
Not that I use it as a status symbol, thats just wrong

I'm looking forward to it cos I live in the UK and will finally be able to buy games and accessories in the shops. However not sure that I'll be buying any games that need firmware updates any time soon cos my imported PSP is 1.5

I won't even upgrade for GTA or burnout. Chrono Trigger & Star Ocean > GTA and any other new game. If they suddenly out of nowhere released Final Fantasy VII I would upgrade that very day though without any need to weigh up pros and cons.

Anyway back on topic It will just be nice to have the convenience of walking into a shop and buying a game of the shelf instead of waiting 3-10 days for deilivery. Also looking forward to UMD movies (I was smart and imported Japanese as they are the same region as Europe)

Reason I dislike launch: I won't be able to show off my "American gadgets" anymore.

Reason I like launch: At least I will be able to play and converse, and still will be only one with homebrew...

On the topic of breaking 2.0, it most likely will happen since US users will want to upgrade and the Europeans will want to crack it. HOWEVER, remember that 1.5 took three months to crack. My bets are we won't see a crack intil at least after New Year's Day.

Calm down, guys, i am German, but I don´t ask stupid questions. btw I guess most of the Europeans first go their own community instead of foreign stuff. I followed many threads about PSP hacks, btw also a 1.51 owner, but i wait, history tells me that all is crackable. So
