Ok, so first and foremost, how the hell are ya? I'm a new guy around here, and like most new people, I'm going to ask some stupid questions (but I HAVE read the FAQs) so please stick with me for a sec . I traded for a PSP with a guy on another site after having left the PSP scene since my original 1.50. So I'm back, but it looks like things have gotten wayyyy more complicated than how simple it use to be.
I have non-custom 3.71 firmware on my system and although I see things here saying custom emu's/homebrews can't be done, I see others saying it can be if I use the Pandora method. So my question is this. In the beginning of the Pandora guide by Moose it says "A PSP Classic with a custom firmware, or homebrew compatible firmware".
Is this the 'chicken or the egg' type of thing or am I missing something? So...I do need to have a previous PSP with custom firmware or I won't have a chance with my current one? Or did I miss the point somewhere? Also, do I need an extra battery if I'm going to use my system for mainly emu's? And last but not least, after I figure all this stuff out(if...), will I never have to update again and all games will work **** and span?
Again, sorry for the newbish questions here. I racked my brain for about an hour & ½ reading the board and FAQs but I seem to be going nowhere fast. Please help the needy! :Argh:
Thanks in advance :Jump:
