Hi

I read an old post on another fourm that you can play multiplayer with just one copy of a game by removing the UMD att some point in the session start up. Now my question is does this work with the 2.0 firmware or has sony fix this ****ch with the 2.0 frimware?

Confirmed for Jap 2.0 (Having brothers does pay off...).

However, won't it be surprising if Sony blocks that cheat out for the US 2.0 release?

Some games are able to be taken out so that you can run full multiplayer for several players by using one UMD. It is done b one guy going all the way into the multiplayer and when waiting for an opponent, taking out the UMD (saying No to quit the game) and giving it to another person to load up. You keep giving it around til everybody gets in.

I know you can do Twisted Metal and Dead to Rights II. Can't do Metal Gear Ac!d, though.

Me and a friend would do it for need for speed, we couldnt get multi to work but we could set up like 10 lap races and playing without the disk. Just DO NOT PAUSE IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE DISK.

Can you play with this cheat if one of the PSP's is a version 1.5 and the other a 1.51? using ridge Racer?

yah u can still do it but i think that ridge racers doesn't work with that and if it requires an update on your psp then u cant unless u want to throw away your homebrew
