Sorry if the name is misleading but it'll do!
I was wondering, which file, in the update, checks the wether the EBOOT is signed/has been tampered with? Couldn't we edit this file and put the contents of a DATA.PSP in there, so when it tries to check it will just execute the code?
Please dont flame me its just an idea!

It checks the elf file to see if it has a valid signature (the firmware does that is). Changing the file really doesnt do anything other then change the key and make it invalid.
