How do u convert songs to play on psp revolution?

how do u convert u r own songs
i know that u have to convert the file to .ogg or .sm but what tools do u use to convert theme.

what do i do after convert the song?
and how do i make a background pic for that song?

i just notice this cool hombrew.

PSP Revolution is based off of Stepmania, a customizable DDR simulator game for PC. You use Stepmania to make the actual steps.
You do not need to convert any mp3s. They will run fine.
The .sm file is NOT music. It contains the actual steps (the song chart).
As for making icons and backrounds, you need to define their name in the .sm file.

There are also places you can download tons of StepMania songs, which will work right in PSP Revolution without any conversion, but I don't think I can link to them because they contain the actual songs themselves, many of which are copyrighted. Try Googling "simfile" and you should find a few.
