Default possible downgrade way

sry if i sound like a n00b. well since sony has released a download section to their psp website maybe when they release a game download someone can see how they atcually allow it to launch because its going to have to run with all firmware updates. if anyone can find out how they launch their own apps maybe we can do the same thing to launch a downgrader

This is very obvious

This won't allow the PSP to downgrade and if they do release games, they might be encrypted

That's what we're waiting for. All it'll take is to be able to break the encryption on any MS game they release and instant exploit. They're going to be working pretty hard to make it unbreakable.

Yes, like FrozenIpaq said, the game is most likely encrypted (In 128-bit AES). For the people that don't know what this is, this will take a VERY VERY long time to decrypt. The only way to get it to run is to use a fake digital signature, which I very much doubt will happen.
Sorry for sounding rude, but I just don't think it will happen (At least for the next couple of months) So every time we crack an update, $ony releases a better one. It's a vicious circle.

Yes, trying to break this encryption is just not a suitable solution. It is the same type of encryption the US government uses on it's sensitive documents. It is as close to un-crackable as anything can get nowadays - it would take years, if not decades, to crack a single piece of code.
