QJ.net Game Discussion - PSP, Xbox, Wii, PS3, PSP Homebrew, and PSP Guides

Ever since I upgraded to 3.71 M33, none of my emulators work. When ever I click on them, the PSP screen comes on and then it gives me the error 8002014C.

What is going on and how can I correct this?

Have you installed the 1.5 kernel? Link.

Also be sure to apply the -4 update.

Perfect. My emulators are working again.

Still one problem though. I still can't play the god of war demo. It gives me this message every time I try to play it.

"The game could no be started.(80020148)"

what if I have a PSP Slim i cant seem to get any 1.5 homebrew working.....

that would be because a slim cant use 1.5 homebrew you will need to find 3.xx versions of the hombrew. And it also could be the firmware you are on seeing as how i dont know what yours is. (must be a cfw)

this is the actual disc, not an iso.

FYI: Demos have to use the 3.xx kernel. Try putting them in GAME371 instead of GAME.

Is your PSP a fat PSP? If so, did you install the 1.50 kernel? If not, are you checking to see if it's slim-compatible?

You can always search for '3.xx' or 'slim' on dl.qj.net...

Its not a downloaded demo. Its the actual god of war demo disc. Everything else is working fine.

You probably don't have any if you don't remember installing them, since the PSP doesn't come with them. To check, boot recovery by holding R when the PSP is starting, then plugins.

Also, have you tried the ISO yet? If you rip the disk and it still doesn't work then you just have a bad disk.

I'm Trying to use LightMP3 1.7.1 to play FLAC which seems to work OK, but I have MP3 files which crashes LightMP3 with a "Memory Error" the MP3 in question plays ok with Sony's player. Anyone else seen this problem?
