irshell not working?

im on 3.71-4 m33. i have irshell 3.81 which was made for 3.71. I can use irshell great with 2 exceptions. 1. I cant launch xmb. when i try the screen goes black and psp freezes. 2. I cant launch my umds or iso's. When i click launch umd it asks if i want to use eboot.bin or boot.bin. Neither works. I get a message that says it failed. ISO's exit me to xmb even though i flashed the file to my flash0 that lets irshell run iso's. plz help

1. Use a different theme. The original never worked for me, but when I switch to exEmBe, it worked fine afterwards.
2. No idea.

im using the psp vista theme and i dint know we couldnt discuss iso's. i wont do it anymore. Any ideas? My psp is using the default theme too

Are you running any plugins in VSH mode besides the IRShell PRX?

ahh ok..
1. If you are clicking the XMB icon on the main screen you need devhook and its only going to emulate a 1.50 (or w.e) XMB if you want to (basically exit irshell) and go back to the XMB you would want to use the shutdown icon and then select go back to XMB

2. Make sure you INSTALLED the 3.81 update through irshell, yes you actually have to run the update via the irshell file browser. If you have done that then make sure you are running the correct shell of irshell (certain games can not run on the 1.50 kernel thus meaning you must use the 3.71 IRshell kernel to run UMD/ISO (since iso works nearly the same as a umd) also for the iso part make sure all your settings are correct if you know what I mean [mods remove this if it gives too much away]


3. If you go to the Irshell unoffical forums they can help you with iso problems. http://irshell.org
