k i'm na keep it very short nd simple: U will need the full version of upms nd a psp that can run iso /cso. Download the u.m.p.s 4rom psp-hacks.com nd copy it 2 ur iso folder nd run the program, now once the programe is up nd running select option 1, u should now 3more options select no1 to install the ipl to ur ms nd u done ur hardmod bettery should work as a normal bettery would. Remember ur hardmod bettery will only work with that memory card so Don't format it after loading the ipl on it.

Whatever, but you didn't fix the battery at all.
The EEPROM still cannot be written to without it's ground connection,
and in a normal *smart* battery, it's there for good reason.

Ya some batteries might blow up if the PSP doesnt assume the right parameters because of no EEPROM.

Makes one ponder about the moral dilema if your hardmod battery blows up while downgrading someone else's PSP. I mean you told them about the downgrade risk n all lol, but not that your battery might blow up.
