ok first of all:

Second, depends. Eloader is for running 1.5 homebrew on your psp. if you have a phat (original) psp you can just install the 1.5 kernel addon. If you have a slim then you need to use eloader.

if you go for eloader i'd recommend getting the slimchoice gui for it. it looks so much better than emenu. I use eloader with slimchoice on my 3.80 M33 phat since I only have 1 or 2 1.50 homebrews and i don't want to install 1.5 kernel just for them.

You don't NEED eloader to run homebrew - only homebrew that uses the 1.50 kernel. And even then it's not perfect...

You don't "install" eloader. It's just a program used to load other programs.

The latest CFW is 3.80 M33, so it comes equipped with the 3.80 kernel (aka 3.xx kernel). This kernel will load all homebrew specifically made for it. It just won't be able to load 1.5 kernel-based games, unless you use eloader - and even still, not all homebrew will load properly.

If you want to find some 3.xx compatible homebrew, I suggest checking out my thread.

Alternatively, you can search dl.qj.net for '3.xx' or 'slim' and get TONS of results.
