irshell with 3.80 m33?

is it compatible yet? i downloaded the latest version of ir shell(3.81?) and i can run it, tho i think im running the 1.50 one. cant connect to my comp for file sharing stuff using nethostsf >.> do i need to use the 3.xx one(the palm tree one?) to use the nethostsf stuff? if yes im gonna downgrade and reupgrade to 3.71 m33 so i can use it ._. sounds so useful lol. anyone wanna elaborate on this?

EDIT: i downgraded to 1.50 and worked all the way back to 3.71 m33-4 with 1.50 kernel and i still cant run things on my comp on my psp(the file sharing crap). someone wanna help or hav a good tutorial that explains the steps in detail?when i try, an error comes up. it says : "Error: Can't connect to Network Host." i know ive got the right internet connection with the password set up and it works with everything else. i put the right settings in ir configurator. i dont know wuts wrong with it. help plz

Also did you donwload the newest version of irshell with the 3.8 patch?

ohh i see your problem now

you have to use the irshell configurater to change your ip address

(if you don't know what it is, go to start - run - and type "msconfig" on your computer)

i did that already. and i was running nethostsf.exe on my comp. whenever i try to toggle the nethostsf thing on the main menu, i says cant connect, and i already changed the connection to my main one.

I haven't tried irshell 3.71 because it says that firmware. I gave 150 Irshell and it runs just fine, only I didn't do an in-depth review. Now that you are mentioning I wanna find out if the network part still works. There are a lot of STABLE emulators and apps that run on 150. So you might wanna have those or perhaps both 150 and 3.xx versions. Whatever floats your boat.

And note that YOU DO NEED 150 kernel addon on 3.80m33. This is obvious... hopefully.

ok I just tested usbhost/nethost/redirection everything works with IRSHELL. It makes sense though because of the 150 kernel addon. By everything I mean EVERYTHING that IRShell 150 is supposed to it does. Unfortunately your limited to whatever is available for 1.50 firmware, which are mainly crappy games, anything that requires above that crashed my PSP. You know I spent 5 minutes testing nethost with Ape Escape.

Actually might be a good idea to keep a 150 folders with all apps as backup. Whenever you feel like firing up nethost from the potato-couch you can still do it. lol.

I guess is not bad until IRshell 3.80 comes out.

To find out more about the capabilities of IRShell 1.50 read up on the pdf manual. You can even stream movies through XMB.

I think is good he leaves because of TRHEE THINGS.

1- A new IRShell-like app will surface fully open source with contributions from everywhere.

2- IRShell releases have become tardy like almost when a new firmware is out. With a fully open source IRShell releases will be out simultaneously with DAX's cfw. You know better coordination and communication.

3- Better user support since requests can be freely asked and put on a public todo list (like many open source projects) and will be implemented much quicker instead of waiting on the whimsical decisions and being scream at "NO OPEN SOURCE", "DON'T ASK", "DON'T BREATH", "DON'T LOOK". You know, is not about someone's personal decision on what's good and not to include no a project, it should evolve according to the users needs and wants.
