Default Video capturing app/plugin?

I'm looking for a video capturing plugin, as I have some experience with video editing using Fraps on my pc and well... this would open some opportunities. Are there any plugins like this out there? I've found one capturing plugin so far... SVCcapture I believe, but it lags everything to hell and only creates incredibly large .gif images without sound.

Help appreciated

There's remotejoy but the last time that worked successfully was on 3.40 OE-A. It slightly worked on 3.52 M33 but it was kinda complicated.

theres one in custom firmware extender, but it just takes a series of images and you need to use a program to do anything else with them.
