Is there any plugin that acts like a reminder? I mean showing a text message (with or without a sound alert) at X time in X day? I think it'd be really useful...

Maybe. But I'd prefer not to use eboots in order to do that, it is way better that when you're playing or in the XMB or whatever an alert shows up.
