i pull up the virtual keyboard and move my analog left to type the words on the left but the cursors too moves all the left making what i type always the first character. how do i solve this.

Which OSK do you speak of?
Since you refer to using the analogue, I'll assume you are using Danzeff...

You should move the analogue to position the cursor, then press the right buttons (square,cross,etc.) to pick a letter.

Clear that up?

not really.

okay i move the analogue to the position i want to type that letter. then i press start to start up the virtual keyboard. the middle square has [space, del and 2 letters]. to get to the other letters i have to move the analogue in the direction of that nine squares but when i move the analogue the cursor moves too.
