how do i exit fileassistant properly?

Default how do i exit fileassistant properly?

the home button doesnt work theres no exit. i use credits to exit but it turns black for awhile then shut off.

try using a later version if there is one. if not, try PSPFiler.

It's because FileAssistant becomes the shell, similar to how in iRshell you cannot use home to exit to the XMB. Just reboot. PSPFiler does not become the shell, but it cannot launch homebrew, like FileAssistant.

Just hold the power button for about 10 seconds to completly shut down the PSP, then boot it up again. Doing that isn't a "inproper" way of exiting an application or so.

Totally wrong.

It's simply because FileAssistant doesn't use the standard callbacks, it attempts to unload its memory and then exit on its own.

You can exit with FileAssistant 1.5 version. I've done it before. Are u using the contest version?
