Ok, so I'm trying to run FFVII on my PSP, with CFW 3.90m33-2. I got Popsloader (3.80m33) and 3.71 firmware to go with it. (Since I've heard that the game won't run past 3.71/3.72.) Anyway, extracted the ISO with MagicISO, converted it to EBOOT with PopstationGUI3, put it in a folder called FFVII, and ran it, and got that error message (topic title). So then I tried using CUE/BIN. Same message. Popsloader is enabled, but I haven't even gotten the menu for it.

Hmm...I also just noticed that MagicISO is an unregistered version, and says it can only do 300 MB. However, the ISO I extracted is 600, so...idk if that could be it.

Any help/thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm, so I played around with some stuff, and now I've got it to load...kinda. The Popsloader menu came up this time. I started a new game, then I got the black screen of doom.

I always knew the piracy-related ISOs were bad, but I didn't know the ones you own count too. ><; Ah well, thanks for the help everyone. I'm sure it'll work this time

To cover all bases we do not support it. Since the methods for running illegal and "legal" ISO's are the same, we don't troubleshoo them (illegal > than legal in this situation).
