Back from the "dead", with a question!
Hey everyone... some of you may remember me from a long time ago... long story short, I joined the Marine Corps and I've been in training and re-adjusting to civilian life again over the past few months.
In any case.. I'm back to the scene now and I'd like to know if anyone would be interested in a homebrew app (tentatively titled 'PSP PC Media Remote'), that would basically control your home theater PC via WiFi.
Reason I'm doing this is because since my 360 died, I've had to connect my laptop straight to my TV and home theater setup to access my media on my HDTV and surround sound... of course, this means whenever I want to change something, I have to get off my arse and stumble to the computer and do it manually... with a PSP + WiFi, it can be done from the ease of the couch/bed/closet/whatever...
It won't be a problem making it, but I don't really want to undertake it unless it will be used by other people, since my 360 will more than likely be back in the coming weeks.
Tentative features are:
iTunes / Windows Media Player control and playlist viewing
System volume control
Opening of media files
Standard playback control (Play / Pause / RW / FFW / Stop)
