I want to bypass tekken protection for their save files.
(u can only load the save on the PSP it was created on)
if u try to load it on another PSP u get that error:
(in the video there is a tool pack for download that might help u)
I have a few ideas:
1. First we gotta find out how Tekken knows which PSP is which (serial, MAC Address or other stuff...), let's call it the signature.
Now, we gotta hack the save files and edit this signature to the another psp's signature. (this is the worst way to do this, look below for a better solution)
2. Open tekken using UMDGEN, extract the file that contains the protection, and edit it (remove the line that tells tekken to check this thing, or change the line to fool tekken in some way).
I've been told that that line is in the EBOOT.BIN file
two ways require decryption and knowledge, which is why I'm asking here for help (I heard QJ are awesome forums with alot of smart ppl and programmers)
Please don't tell me to start a new game, because that's not my problem,

hope I posted this in the right section XD
after some searching, I saw a few people thinking that "signature" is actually the MAC Adress of the PSP.
Unfortunately, we're talking about the actual MAC Address and not the visual one which we see at the system information tab (the visual is very easy to edit using IDStorage).
does any1 knows how to edit the MAC Adress?
(or there is that:
decrypt the save files, find mac address in it, and change it to our new mac address)
might also worth messing with the IDstorage keys?
