Can someone help me piece together release dates for when things happened. I'm interested, and may be nice for a lil' faq. I'll edit this as I get info from y'all.

I'm personally sort of trying to guage how long its taking to get through each hurdle for homebrew and hacks.

PSP 1.0 Release in Japan: December, 2004
First homebrew app appearing: bbb
First emulator: ccc
First ISO dumped in the wild: ddd
First ISO loader: eee
1.5 firmware appearing: fff
PSP 1.5 Release in USA: March 24, 2005
First 1.5 Exploit (Swaploit): June 15, 2005
Improved 1.5 Exploit (KXploit): June 22, 2005
1.5.x firmware appearing: iii
First 1.5.x Exploit: jjj
2.0 firmware appearing: August 25, 2005

The easiest way to round up this information would be to go to our front page and look at the side bar where you can view news announcements by day. I can tell you that the 1.50 Swaploit came out on Wednesday, June 15. The KXploit method was revealed a week later on Wednesday, June 22.
