Default is there a internal storage device on psp?

When people go onto the internet they dl the website pictures onto their computers, when I go onto the internet on the psp does it dl pictures and store them somewhere? Because computers do, but im not sure if a psp does. And if it does, will it finally become full? When i install an update where is it saved to, and when I have a wallpaper on my psp, where is the image stored? If there is another folder (internal) on the psp how can i access it?

now i may be mistaken, but i'm pretty sure that when browsing the internet on the psp, the images and other good things are stored in the psp's onboard RAM, although cache and bookmarks are stored on the memory stick, anyone want to correct me? so, not including the memory stick ram, and bios (rom), there is no internal storage device on the psp

Here's the skinny.

The browser doesn't save anything to the onboard RAM(ROM??). That is where the firmware is held, so the psp will actually work. All other information is stored on your MS. If you have a small MS, it will fill quite quickly. If you have a large MS, not so much.

If you do a little research on maybe SONY's website, you'd figure this out.

The BIOS holds the PSP/XMB/FIRMWARE, the RAM is used all the time for things ranging from hombrew (not on 2.0 of course) and games. Of course the browser uses it, storing files on the memory stick on the go would be hell, the MS isnt really all that fast (unless its gamer edition).

Its like PC RAM, RAM doesnt store the settings of the system, the BIOS does. RAM is used by everything loaded on the system though, without RAM it cant run. Random Access Memory (RAM) for those who dont know.
