2 things, try time machine. or look for their 3xx kernel versions. (there is no 1.5 addon for slim, but TM can run 1.5 from mem stick )

Look for later versions of the homebrew that use the 3.xx kernel rather than the 1.5 kernel. Or in the case for say Daedalus, use the 1.00 version rather than the 1.50 version.

There is no 1.50 kernel for Slim.

You don't need the 1.50 kernel to run N64 and PSX games.

Get the latest version of Daedalus for N64 and do what mohaas said.

You don't even need an emulator for PSX games. Your PSP has one built in. Just use the PSX2PSP converter to convert it into an EBOOT. Can't give you a link though, so just do some googling.

You shouldn't be worried about needing the 1.5 kernel though since as long as you're on custom firmware (I'm assuming you are), your psp has a built in ps1 emulator. You just need to convert the ps1 isos into an eboot with a program (search google).

As far as getting your n64 roms working, the emulator is quite slow so don't expect to be running your games full speed (or at all). Use Daedalus which is just a single eboot and will work on 3.xx/4.xx kernels.

Oh, sorry. I thought it might have been illegal since it dealt with converting ISOz.

Here is a link to PSX2PSP: http://dl.qj.net/PSX2PSP-v1.3-PSP-Em...6591/catid/263

And for PS1 games, all you need is PSX2PSP to convert them, as linked above.

Dude, he asked how to get 1.50 on his memory stick... and I answered his question. Confusion comes in when you start telling him to do otherwise.

Also, just before you **** up, it is against the rules to help people with the loading of game backups.

Woah, no need to get angry.

He was led in the wrong direction because people were telling him how to use the 1.50 kernel on a slim via Timemachine. Yes, thats what he asked for, but he doesn't need the 1.50 kernel.

All he needs are programs for the 3.xx kernel, which I provided for him. That is not against the rules.

The reason they supplied him with the information they did is because he asked for it:

He is mislead. He thinks he needs the 1.5 kernel, when he infact doesn't.
I provided him all the information he needs, including a link to daedalus which works on the 3.xx/4.xx kernel, so I really don't understand why he's still looking for a way to get the 1.5 kernel on his psp.
Time machine is by no way an easy thing for a beginner to be setting up, and is unneccessary in his case. You're making things harder than they need to be.

If he really is in need of getting 1.5 on his memorystick for whatever reason, then whatever good luck to him.

Timemachine isn't hard to set up, there is even a guide that I linked to... It would take him about 5 minutes.

You're missing the point. Time Machine is not necessary in his case. Don't confuse him.

I get the point, but he may need the 1.50 kernel for other things. Sure, he can use the 3.XX version of Daedalus this time, but some applications or games don't have a 3.XX alternative.

Seeing though that he seems kind of naive of PSP homebrewing, its probably best just to leave it at where it is right now. He doesn't need time machine for his current needs.

Exactly. When he needs it, then he can start worrying about it.

@lopanda: Do what I said earlier in the thread, and you will be all set to go.

Go to the dark alex website and download time machine. Read the "readme" and it will instruct you on how to install 1.5 on your mem stick so the slim can use.
