I would definately give Hostcore 1.2 a try, it works perfect on 4.01m33.
Just get your pc's ip and change the conf.txt to show your pc's IP address. If you dont know how go to Run, type in cmd and in the command prompt window do ipconfig. Then drop the hostcore folder into the root of your memory stick, and in the inside your seplugins folder open vsh.txt and add this line to the file and save: ms0:/Hostcore/hostcore.prx Go to the recovery menu and activate the plugin. Next on your pc you need the usbhost.exe in a folder, then you need to create a folder structure like your psp: FOLDER USBHOST IS IN VIDEO PICTURE MUSIC ISO --> VIDEO PSP --> GAME --> GAME150 --> GAME4XX --> PHOTO Then drop in the files you want to run, from your pc. Now run usbhost.exe, make sure your psp has the usb cable in it and the pc. Hard reset your psp; by holding the power switch up for about 5 seconds, then press the note button; the one next to the screen brightness button, the little icon will come up saving off now press left on the d-pad till usb is shown. Now hold the note button for about 5 seconds now load up whatever section of the xmb you want, and enjoy

I get that sort of message when i hover over an icon which is on my memory stick. Its no problem just saying that it cant find that specific file. If you also have that file on your hard drive keep scrolling and you will find a duplicate icon but usbhost doesnt bring up an error message.
If you cant find ANY file thats on your mac (i dont have a mac so not 100% on this) you need usbhost program in the "jeff" folder, you then need the same folder structure as your psp. USBHOST.exe (whatever executable extension is on mac) VIDEO/ PICTURE/ MUSIC/ ISO/ --> VIDEO PSP/ --> GAME --> GAME150 --> GAME4XX --> SAVEDATA |
