Default 3.95 Official To Custom

Is it possible to upgrade from 3.95 Official to custom firmware without a pandoras battery? If so what is the latest and how do i install it?

No.

You need a pandoras battery and magic memory stick.

If you cant buy a tool battery the only way to do it is by hardmodding a battery.

What are the chances of screwing the battery up by hardmodding it? Do i need special tools?

Depends on how careful you are. You just cut off a leg or trace, so it's pretty hard to mess up.

The only thing you need is a pair of scissors, or if you don't have a pair small enough a knife.

Most people just buy the tool battery. Link.
