It's been more than a year since I've actually used my PSP for gaming and as a PMP. Because of that my classic/phat PSP is "still" running 3.03 OE-C as the firmware version.
I recently bought an 8GB memorystick with the intention of getting this thing up and running again. Because of that I want to upgrade to the latest custom firmware, but the question now is how to do that?
1. Do I need a Pandora battery? If so, do I have to buy an extra battery to ensure I have one working original?
2. Can I 'just' upgrade my firmware by downloading and running the CFW 5.00 M33-3 release? Is this the latest and most feature-rich CFW at the moment?
3. Am I missing something? :-P
