Hi,
I tried to repair my broken PSP Phat Remote. After the "Repair" i plugged the Remote in but my psp turned off i couldnīt turn it on so i unplugged the remote and then i could turn my psp on and my psp started with the DATE/TIME settings. I thought i was dreaming it was 2am. I tried it again and it worked again. Is it a bug? or is there something like "Service Mode" in the remote? Maybe semi Flash1 format or donīt know. Iīm using 5.00 M33-4 i can try it with OFW if you want.

You probably just shorted something out in the remote, then to the PSP, resetting the settings.
