My CFW is currently the massivly outdated 3.51 m33. I have one of the first PSP's, the fat one, or whatever. I need to get to the current version and I'm not sure what would be faster now. Upgrading to 3.52 then going from there or down all the down to 1.50 then going straight to 5.12 or whatever.

I'm not even sure where to begin either. Help pleeease?

Why have I neglected my PSP for so long...

Oh, so 3.52m33-4 can go right to 5? Erh, its been so long since I've done this, where can I find the stuff to get up to 3.52m33-4 anyways?

Alright, I've found the files eboot files and renamed the ones that needed it, put them in my game folder, but 3.52 m33 creator always gives me a "game could not be started 80020148" error....can anyone help me, I'm such a hopeless idiot....

nevermind, I think I got it to 2.52 m33-4

Now I remember why I stopped updating, this is so stressful

are you on the "3.51" kernel?
check in RECOVERY MENU >> 1.5 Kernel/3.51 Kernel

I'd use hellcat's recovery flasher and head to 5.01 m33-4 from that, it's the easiest from what I can tell.
