Just got going with PSPComic v1.0.1 last night and it was great, but I thought it was a bit slow when reading a comic about 66MB in size.
For the moment I'm using a Sandisk Memory Stick Pro Duo Gaming 4GB, but I can't help thinking, will PSPComic "handle" the comics faster (with zooming etcetera) if I get a Sandisk Memory Stick Pro Duo Ultra II 8GB or a Sandisk Memory Stick Pro Duo Extreme III 8GB? What do you guys think? I'm running a PSP Phat with CFW 5.00 M33-4. |

PSPComic is faster with ZIPs than RARs because of the way RARs are handled internally. However, the speed difference between archive formats should be negligiable compared to the time taken loading the page. Ensure that the 3.71 FATMS mod is installed (http://dark-alex.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=1996) and pump up the clock speed for maximum speed. I doubt getting a faster memory stick will make the pages load much faster, and will not make the pages zoom any faster, as once a page is loaded, the whole image is stored in cache so that it's not supremely slow.
