Cant play official demos

Well, my PSP has 5.00 M33-4 and it will not let me play any official demos (it works fine for homebrew though).

Can you be more specific with your question? Where do you download the Demos;
on your PC or on your PSP using the Playstation Network?

I download the demos from my PSP.

look in youre save data and see if theres one with pink ps3 controllers on it thats the sd for the psn store it could be corrupt.

I think that he's downloading .rar or .zip files from the browser. You have to unpack them first, if so.

I did activate the system for games and videos so thats not the problem. And there not corrupt. The icons appear fine under the GAME menu, its just that when I launch them I get an error.

Try providing a little more information; do you even want help?

Are you running it from 5.xx kernel?
What kind of psp do you have? (Slim/Phat)
Have you tried reinstalling your custom firmware?
What demos are you specifically trying?

If none of those things work, then tough ****, it doesn't look like it's going to work.

I am running it from the 5.xx kernal.
I have the PSP 1000 series.
I have tried reinstalling the custom firmware.
I have tried all demos from the PS store.

no not the demo. the save data. and just because icons show doesnt mean its not corrupt c: c:

I dont know what you guys are talking about. There demos, they dont have save data. There not full games.

Go into recovery mode advanced/advanced configuration and disable GAME plugins, It should work just fine.

they dont have save data but the actual psn does. it verifies what account you got it from.

To the op, when you say the psp gives you an error does it spit out an error code? Or just shut off after a few seconds?
