I see people putting Yoshi down just because he's delaying the release of the downgrader (for the greater good). You know, he could've just announced the release but not the date and it'd probably have gone in his favor. Yoshi was asking for donations 'cause he's already taken enough out of his own pocket to replace all those bricked psps. The same thing would undoubtedly happen if Seargent were to brick one or two PSPs, hell, he might even stop the project altogether.
Oh, and ***-kissing will only get you so far. I think if Seargent has time to be moderating this thread, he should be using it to perfect his codes (that is, if he plans to do so).

I don't know how important or big this new release by sergeant is but can I just say, I saw a few people saying 'this is how the community should be, open and stuff' and 'lets all share so we can get everything else done quicker'. People who say stuff like that don't contribute at all! I know I haven't in a single bit, admitedly I don't have a PSP yet, but when I do I know I will be using all this stuff.
Final point is, don't put down other teams and yes they may want credit for it by releasing it later and such, but they deserve it if they come up with the goods!
I dont understand. You have two of the same exact file here. Swapping mem cards with the same exact file isnt going to make it boot. This does not work. not even a little. Not ever. Nice try.

er ms swapping is not new and does not work with 1.5x+. giving us an example that doesnt even get past the initial check is not userfull.

I don' want to discourage anyone (but i will do :ROFL: ), but the eboot.pbp in both folders, real and hacked, are the same file (they have the same crc 16 and 32: 5C53 and A13CEEEB.

they're both 2.00. he does not claim to have a working downgrader, nor is this proof of one. mad props for him actually supplying what he's using for this proof of concept, but there is nothing beyond that at this point.

first, like said, this is not a real downgrader, youve been given a dummy second MS file which gives you an error. second, my 1.5X hacking days are from when 2.0 wasnt out.
hey surely no one need worry about bricking your psp, with these eboot files because if it does go to update you need to have your AC adapter in any way so.....
unless theres other ways that ya psp can be bricked

I am reading this post correctly and am not expecting a full working downgrader. Just found it funny when the first download had the same files in it but that has been resolved. I am now looking at the second set of files and it looks like the orig 1.5 swap ms trick before the %folders were found out. Still nothing new here.
