Hey guys.

I have been out of the loop for a loooong time.
I still have my psp runing firmware 1.5 and i didnt use it for very long time.

I have the first generation psp.

Can anyone guide me whats the newest stuff for runing ripped games etc. Also runing them from pc hard drive instead of memory card.

Update it to 3.52 m33 and then to 5.00 m33

1-No.

2-Yes, there is.Such as IRshell with hostcore.

3-Yeah there is lots.

Be sure to read the read me before going to 5.00m33-6 from 3.52m33. There is some steps you should do.

I cant belive how much progress psp received. There is just so much stuff.

After upgrading to 5.00 m33, I would just browse the downloads section and get whatever looks interesting. CFW is the most important thing though IMO.

Just to name several good apps/homebrews:
1-CXMB 3.3 for 5.00m33.

2-kurok 0.4, pretty decent shooter game.

3-defense station portable, if you are into strategical games.

4-Aircrack o.57, helps to crack APs, but it is not 100% guaranteed.

5-IRshell 5.0, very very useful app!And the most important one actually.

6-cspsp 1.61, counterstrike 2d well developed with online play

7-Many many more!

Ok i have put 5.00 m33-6 custom firmware and i am able to play iso and psx games

Now i wonder if there are any games (iso or homebrew) that i can play online with other people through wifi. And how difficult it is ? Does it require any homebrew application ?

With the original psp games you can play multiplayer without any homebrew.
Now in the pops you can't.
