he obviously is not familiar with this stuff nick. To mod the PSP you have to create something called Pandora battery, which you can do modifying the battery physically (removing certain pin if I'm not mistaken) or via software with an already modded PSP (fat or slim). Start your search with that.

If the slim has 4.01 firmware, there's a good chance it has a ta-088v3 motherboard. Pandora batteries don't work on them. You should use the chickHEN on the slim, and then run PSPIdent. It will tell you what motherboard you have.
If it doesn't have a ta-088v3, then you can use a Pandora battery and magic memory stick to install custom firmware. If it does have one, you'll need to use the chickHEN custom firmware enablers, and run the chickHEN after every time you turn off the psp. You can download PSPIdent here: http://dl.qj.net/PSPident-v0.4-PSP-H...6999/catid/151 EDIT: To use the chickHEN, the slim has to update to firmware 5.03. You can download 5.03 here: http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=1645 After you've extracted it, put the EBOOT.PBP file into PSP/GAME/UPDATE (You create the UPDATE folder, it's probably not already on there). Then in the PSP menu, go to Game, and run the update. You can download the chickHEN here: http://dl.qj.net/Hacks-Exploits/pg/1...6993/catid/114 Last edited by OuterHeaven; 06-13-2009 at 06:07 PM.. |

You can't install 1.50 in slim psp. The slims released with the 3.60 and then. From the 1.50 until the 3.52 there aren't drivers for the slim. So don't downgrade the slim to 1.50 because you will brick it
