This is a discussion on Can the PSP emulate older PC games yet? within the PSP Homebrew and Hacks Discussion forums, part of the PSP Development, Hacks, and Homebrew category; I mean games that were made to run on Win95, 98, etc. I did a search and the only thing ...

dosbox is your best yet, because converting games(or emulating, which is twice as hard) games that were on Win95/98 would be a consiberally hard process. dosbox is the only app that can run anything near win95/98.

I don't think you'll be able to play a lot of games. The psp is pretty limited on resources. Using an image means no capability of writing data to the "disk", only reading from it. It will probably cause you problems.
If I have time I'll try installing Win 95 on dosbox , since I have some images and bootdisks lying around. |

Nothing post-DOS can be played in DOSBox. Hence the name "DOS"Box. There was a very basic Windows 95 emulator out way back when homebrew first started up, but it was buggy and slow and the project was dropped.

Well, I managed to install Windows for Workgroups 3.11 and play solitaire
EDIT: I'm too lazy, I found a preinstalled image. Turns out Win 95 is good to go after just 5 minutes! The bad: After 3 mins of fiddling around I get my first BSOD and 2 "The program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down". Not to mention it lags like hell.
