Yeah I would be interested in a link too. I keep up to date on pretty much everything psp/ps3 but I have never heard of that. I will do my own search but also check back here.

I am sure that there is no program ever created that can do this, it is not plausible. If there is, then it is a fake...

Hey, guess what guys?

Its a virus!

Heres a little discussion on it:

PSP Wifi Signal Increaser [HOMEBREW APP] - Sony PSP Mod & PSP Hacks Forums

I feel really stupid. I'm usually very cautious with running stuff (I have a virtual machine setup and everything) but I let this one through.

If you ran it, just search C:/ for the name of the exe (which is portablewifiup.exe, I don't remeber, I already deleted it).

You should find it in a folder called "newtemp" and in the Startup group in the Start menu.

I have no idea what the virus does though, and nothing has happened to me yet, but it doesn't do what it says it does.

I figured it was too good to be true. Wondered why I'd never heard of it before either.

Maybe,because it isn't possible ?
Anyway the reason that it can't start is the ESET NOD 32 v4.
