How Miche2245 from our forums has discovered, there is a vulnerability in the firmware 5.50. On this occasion, he has written an exploit, so far for the Japanese version of Monster Hunter and the English version of Need for Speed: Underground works.

The compatibility with other games of the older term is possible, but was not yet fully tested. You will need the savegame, then rename it.

After execution of the exploits of the HEN to start, so you then either use the custom firmware or Enabler 5:03 GEN install them.

Be cautious of this, i remember reading up on something about some cfw from him being a load of crap.

i havent tested, at work at the moment (not that theres any work to do)
but the files needed should be there.
going to test on my fat PSP after work (i have NFS-underground) since if its dodgey i can use DC8 to bring it back anyways.

im not at liberty too test yet(pc problems) but if it is true we should not speak or mention until psp go comes out

that makes no sense, its already patched in 5.51.
i dont think the PSP Go is going to go backwards in firmware revisions.
i'm thinkin the logical firmware for Go to have would be 6.00, but thats just speculation.
in any case it stands to reason that the Go will not have 5.50.

PS. the save game file is for moster hunter freedom (i dont have it), i was hoping both the NFS and the MHF files were in there, havent been able to find NFS one yet, unless that one save will work for both games after renaming, i dont know.

its looking fake
looked at a couple of youtube videos of this so called hack in action and in the videos it didnt work.
also the HW.bin file is taken from davees chickHEN without any modification whatso ever.
i'll still test it when i get home, but its not looking good.

looks like the title "5.50 hen" is more attractive than "5.50 savegame exploit"

anyway, isn't the hen suppose to work only on ofw (I'm not sure

Its fake.

Its been confirmed as such and proved that its a hex edit of chickhen and a savegame that doesnt work.
