The lazy way is to open with a hex editor and edit the last 1.50 to 2.01
The other way is to unpack with PBP Unpacker and edit UPDATER_VER in the sfo file and repack

So let me guess. You're going to rename the 2.00 update to 2.01. Run it on the 2.00 PSP and then switch to a 1.50 eboot?

I think what he is trying to do has only been done like 100 times.IM pretty sure 101 times wont hurt. But that will probably just make it 101 more bricked psp's/

It appears the scene is getting a bit desperate, but in the poster's defense, he did say he wanted to try something different (although I would suspect that a next step would require knowledge of this step to perform  ).
