how do you run ISO that needs firmware?

I have an ISO of Death Jr. But it needs a Firware update to play the game if it was on UMD. I tried using WAB's version changer, then starting the game with fastloader but my psp just hangs then turns off. Any ideas???

Correct me if I am wrong, but if you use fastloader, I don't think you need to use the version upgrader. I have many new games, even Burnout Legends and virtua tennis and those games don't need any update. I used to have the Version changer for one of my psp's to make it read as a 2.0v, but I got nervous for some reason and changed it back. And to my surprise, all of the games that I thought would need some type of update doesn't need one with the version .7 fast loader. But, try changing it back to its original 1.0 or 1.5 and run the game.

I have the game dumped and FastLoader doesnt run it but another does, and thats all Ill say.
