Default snapshots and making gif

hello. i currently use a plugin called ScreenshotPluginv1.2.prx to take snapshots and make gif's of games and movies. it works well but the buttons are hardcoded and i was woundering if anyone knew a way do change the buttons or if their was a different plugin that did the same thing but had the ability to change the buttons. my other problem is when im making a gif from a video thats on the memory stick, when the psp freezes up when it trys to read and write at the same time and gives me corrupted data, witch is a bummer. if i time it just right, i can get away with a good gif but if i try to make it to long... freeze. anyway here is a gif i made and thanks for any input

Try to hex edit it but it is too hard to change the buttons.

I already have try to change it but it is almost impossible to change the hardcoded buttons with a simple hex.

Maybe this will help.

If you open the .prx with your hex editor, you will find an interesting text "ms0:/dh/kd/capture.ini". INI files are usually configuration settings. Find out if that file actually exists while the plugin is running.

I don't have it in my PSP so you're welcome to try this.

you know now that i think about it i think this was ment to be used with devhook but i never understood the whole dev hook thing. that and i dont think devhook is even being made anymore. i just put it in the seplugins folder and activated it and started useing it. do you think if i eraced the /dh/kd/ part in the prx and made a INI file with the correct button arangement it would work?

again please bare with my ¨noob¨ questions... i havent quiet started pc school yet

success! thanks for the tip junkfactory. what i had to do is make a folder "dh" then another folder "kd" in that one, and put a text page in that called capture.ini then i wrote on the page

ScreenShot = PSP_CTRL_VOLUP+PSP_CTRL_V OLDOWN
VideoStartNormal = PSP_CTRL_NOTE

now to start gif and stop gif is note button. screen shot was note but it is slow so i just moved it as you can see
