in order to downgrade something, it needs to be hacked first.

Arrow down grading is easier!!
it easier to down grade cause ur just braking the code and then chnging it to 1.50 which will then allow u ot play hombrew>!!

altoght it could be way diffrent then what i think, dose that mean i cant have my webbrowser after i odwn graded????????????

Well a certain type of downgrader can work, like one that downgrades the secuirty in it. First thing is getting something to run with full security, for that we need Sony to sign the eboot, which aint gonna happen till PSP is on eBay for $10 (not link...).

I have alot of PSP mobos and am currently working on a hardmod, got a dual-bios one to work perfect but its quite bulky and the PSP is skinned (skinned meaning all casing removed).

It will be easyer to get a 1.50 once the downgrader is released, lol. Im a coder and i've done a few hacks in the past, if i had more time to deticate to it, i'd probably take a stab at 2.00, but on the other hand i don't need the added stress, i don't dought that 2.00 has some tough codin behind it.

I think it needs more crypographic rather than coding expertise now, by the sounds of things. I'v been doing C++/ASM for 20 years now and I wouldn't go nowhere near an AES encryption challenge.
