because that will most likely brick the psp... There are other reasons, but that is the most reasonable. You can't un-flash..only delete and that will brick the PSP or totally mess it up :P The only way to be safe is replacing the files..we still don't know the full internal structure of the PSP yet

This brings up a question I've had regarding the WAB version changer. I understand that it is a version flasher. When you flash it to 2.00, does it actually give it the capabilities of 2.0? Such as the web browser. Or does it just trick your PSP into being 2.0 with no extras?

No extras, just a simple tool that changes the version number..that's all..no 2.0 features

Once wiping the PSP of its flash memory (which isn't really possible anyway) how would you flash new firmware onto it. You've just killed the OS that you use to flash.....

sigh

The main reson you cant flash the hardware is cause there is no application that lets you edit the flash drive, then if you did flash it, youd be deleting the OS, as allready said, a replacement app is whats really needed, that replaces components and not the whole

which is a great idea to any devs, giving people the ability to add to the flash drive
